Electric Comes to L.A.

Through the years we been using cars in which we have to put gas almost every day and it’s just a waste of money and it could pollute the world in some way that air get contaminated.  Could you picture the world with almost every vehicle running on energy and not gas? I could since there are cars now in days that run in energy.  BYD (Build Your Dreams) a Chinese based Warren Buffet-backed player from the EV and solar energy markets has made its arrival to L.A. BYD headquarters throughout the continent will support by selling their products around the world. Like BYD’s dual-mode electric and e6 electric vehicles, all-electric long-range eBUS commercial buses, rapid charging stations, home solar systems and LED and a couple more.  Hertz Car Rentals announced that they are going to supply Los Angeles Airport (LAX) with eBus-12 to shuttle people to their terminal instead of them walking it. The is all electric bus travels on energy that it gets from a solar panel that on the roof of it. It could travel up to 120 miles in one charge and speed up to 50 miles per hour. I think this is a great way of going green and not polluting the world when we drivers travel on cars with gas. We don’t waste any energy in any way because solar panels get their energy from the sun. The idea of get electric is pretty awesome to me.

  1. Mariana, this is an interesting article about electric vehicles coming to LA. You make a good point that using energy from the sun will prevent some of the pollution. Please remember to post the link of your article on your blog.
